What we aim for
WCAG 2.2 level AA across the site. In practice: text that passes contrast on its background, visible focus on every link and control, headings in order, and everything usable with a keyboard alone.
Audio, video and motion
- Every sample call has its full transcript on the page, one line at a time as it plays, and the whole call can be read by scrolling without playing it.
- Footage loops are silent and decorative, and never start when your system asks for reduced motion. The still frame is shown instead.
- Nothing on the site plays sound until you press something. Ara's lines appear as text; her voice only plays if you start it.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, the animations and Ara are switched off and the page is shown plainly.
Ara
- Ara is reachable with the keyboard: tab to her, press Enter to open her bubble, Escape to close it. The bubble's buttons and the question box work like any other.
- Talking to her by voice needs a microphone. Everything she can do by voice she can also do by typed question, and everything on the site works without her.
Known limits
- The sample calls are recordings without captions in the player; the transcript on the page is the full call.
- The floating assistant is a 3D drawing; screen readers skip it, and her words are read from the bubble.
